Canonical URL
The preferred version of a web page that search engines should index.
A canonical URL tells search engines which version of a URL is the "master" copy when you have duplicate or similar content accessible through multiple URLs.
For example, these URLs might all show the same content: - https://example.com/page - https://www.example.com/page - https://example.com/page?ref=twitter
By setting a canonical URL, you consolidate link equity and avoid duplicate content issues that can harm your SEO rankings.
